She is most definitely becoming her own person. She wants to wear makeup SO BAD and dress like a teenager. She has a smart mouth sometimes just like a teen. What am I going to do? How will we survive them!
But as much as she wants to be grown, she is still a little girl at times. She loves cartoons, Hallmark movies, playing with her dolls (even if it is just styling their hair) and playing school.
This year was big because she got braces this summer on the top teeth. The bottom will come in February.
Cheerleading is still something she loves to do. This past year she was on the Kernersville Raider D8 team. At Regionals, they took first place in the teams not advancing to Nationals. BUT they made zero mistakes and scored higher than the teams that were going to Nationals. I'm so proud of her, but scared because next year she will move up to the D10 squad that does compete nationally.
