Princess Antics

Princess (Carli's Elf on the Shelf) came to our house again for Christmas.  She did quite a few funny things this year.

Princess left writing paper for Carli to write her letter to Santa.  She did a great job.  Made Mommy cry!

Dear Santa, Merry (Christmas).  (I want My Little) Pony, Frozen (dress), crayons, paint.  Love Carli

Spa Night

Looks like Princess has a laugh that night.  Yes those are Carli's clean panties.

Carli loves "The Grinch".  Princess set up her own drive-in with the Grinch and brought her popcorn and the movie.

Carli had a rough day at school one day and Santa was not happy.

I think Princess wanted Carli to clean her room!

Her last day at our house was Carli day.  Since Princess was riding on the sleigh back to the North Pole with Santa, Carli was finally allowed to touch Princess.  The two spent part of the day watching cartoons.  As Carli left goodies for Santa, she gave Princess goodbye hugs and kisses until next year.

Finally!

We found out what will get Carli to sing...

Tonight was the music performance at church.  Carli's group was up first.  When they started, she was hiding her face again.  Then she noticed that Michael was holding onto the mic and singing.  Carli decided to do the same.

Videos are not the best but...

Preschool Christmas Program

Carli was all excited one day in November when she came home and told us that she was chosen to be Mary in the program at school.  Luckily there were no words for her to day.

December 9th was the big day.  Carli knew what she needed to do and was so excited!

Dear Santa...

Yesterday, Princess (our elf) made her third appearance.  She came without much fanfare this year.  We decided to let Carli find her on her own.  When she got up, as usual, she came and watched cartoons on our bed.  Later, she decided she was ready for breakfast, so she headed down the stairs.  We muted the TV and waited.

"Princess?" is what we heard, and then "MOMMA...PRINCESS IS HERE!"  She came flying up the stairs with her face all lit up.  "She brought chocolate muffins and a Frozen plate and cup."  She was so excited.

Princess also wrote her a note reminding her that she could talk to her, but she couldn't talk back and Carli was not to touch her.

This morning, Carli found Princess in the Christmas tree, along with a piece of paper for her to write her letter to Santa.  Carli quickly sat down and began.  We spelled everything for her and she did a really good job.  As she was writing, I began to tear up thinking how she is growing up.

Dear Santa,

Merry Christmas. I want a My Little Pony, a Frozen dress, crayons (46 to be exact) and paint.

Love,
Carli.
